“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8

He was ordained a Deacon April 10, 2005, was an organizing member of the Male Chorus, Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent. He always found time to enjoy life and God’s beautiful nature by fishing, always looking forward to fishing trips to the coast with his Public Works buddies, spending time manicuring his yard and showing off his cooking skills preparing most of the meals in his household. He also was an avid Tar Heel Basketball and Football and Dallas Cowboys fan.
