Paulette Daniels Obituary With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life and legacy of Paulette Vanhook Daniels a woman whose kindness, faith, and joy touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on September 10, 1946, in Durham, North Carolina, to Ira and Nolie Vanhook, Paulette was a light in her community, a devoted mother, sister, grandmother. and friend. She was educated in both Durham County and Orange County Schools, shaping her into the intelligent and compassionate woman she became. Throughout her life, Paulette was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to serving others. She worked at Shrimp Boat, K&W Cafeteria, and Hood's Laundromat, where she was loved by colleagues and customers alike. Whether she was preparing a warm meal, offering a kind word, or simply sharing a smile, she made every interaction meaningful. A woman of deep faith, Paulette was saved and a devoted member of St. John Holiness Church on Hatch Road in Chapel Hill, NC. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived-always offering kindness, encouragement, and unconditional love to those around her. Her powerful voice could often be heard singing praises, and her love for dance was a testament to the joy she carried in her heart. She found beauty in every moment and spread that joy to all who knew her. Paulette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Snook Daniels; her brothers, Charlie J. Vanhook (CJ) and Ira W. Vanhook (IW); and her dear sister, Rilla D. Vanhook (Darlene). Though their loss was profound, Paulette carried their memories with her, keeping their spirits alive through her unwavering love and faith. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted siblings, Nolie E. Council (Peaches), James T. Vanhook (JT), and Lula M. Davis; her beloved children, Pamela Daniels-West (Jocephus), Joseph V. Daniels, and Jermaine L Daniels; and her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sharnee' R. Nickerson, Ashley S. Epps (Da'Sean), Matthew West, Jaidan Daniels, Sha'nihya White, Morgan Epps, Khalil Brown, Karter Copeland, Alia Epps, Da'lani Epps, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who were blessed to be part of her life. Paulette's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She had a heart that welcomed everyone, a voice that lifted spirits, and a laugh that could brighten even the darkest days. She found joy in the simple things singing, dancing, sharing love, and keeping her faith at the center of all she did. Though she has transitioned from this life, her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith will remain in the hearts of those who loved her. **We do not own the copyrights to the background music** Services Flower Delivery Wednesday March 19, 2025 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM K.N.
