Mark Thomas Eskew

Mark T. Eskew, 63, passed away on August 21, 2025, after bravely facing a lengthy journey with cancer. Born February 1, 1962, in Waynesboro, VA, Mark was raised in Winston-Salem, NC, and graduated from North Forsyth High School. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1985.

Mark began his professional journey in the banking and mortgage industries, later shifting his focus to home renovations-work that reflected both his creativity and dedication to his craft.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nita Anderson Eskew; daughter, Olivia Eskew Morton, and husband, Mark Morton, Jr., of Decatur, GA; son, John Thomas Eskew, and wife, Christina Brumm, of Carrboro, NC; and grandson, Eli James Morton. Mark also is survived by his mother, Martha Eskew of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Julie Collins, and husband, Michael Collins, of Lewisville, NC; and niece and nephews, Cambria James, Joshua Collins, and Zachary Reintsema.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Eskew.
