Mrs. Linda Foushee Brown was born on April 13, 1951, in Orange County, North Carolina, to the late Mary Elizabeth McCauley. On May 14, 2026, she peacefully transitioned into eternal rest.
Linda received her education through the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School System and graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1969. She furthered her education at Durham Technical Community College. Linda dedicated many years of faithful service to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she worked as an Admissions Administrator for 30 years before retiring.
A devoted woman of faith, Linda was a faithful member of First Baptist Church. She faithfully served as a Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher, Girls Youth Choir Advisor, and proudly held the position of President of the Willing Workers Club. Her commitment to serving others and uplifting her church family reflected her loving and giving spirit.
Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member, and friend. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love touched many lives. We thank God for the precious gift of His faithful servant. She will forever be loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth McCauley, and her brother, Ashley Foushee.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her two sons, Marcus Farrow (Chastity) and Thadeus Farrow; her daughter, Rieneke Farrow; seven grandchildren: Marcus Farrow Jr. (Danielle), Anayah Farrow, Chandler Farrow (Britney), Herashio Street (Jalisa), Lakeya Street, Myles Anikwue, and Ijaa Mitchell; and nine great-grandchildren: Paityn Farrow, Naseem Farrow, Mason Knight, Herashio Street Jr., Ra’Niyah Street, Brielle Baker, Jazari Street, Kailyn Street, and King Street.
