Leslie Baldwin

Leslie Annette Baldwin, 58, of Hillsborough, North Carolina, and formerly of Chapel Hill, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026.

A proud graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Leslie lived her life with an abundance of joy, warmth, and an unforgettable sense of humor. To know Leslie was to know genuine laughter—her bright, infectious laugh was truly one-of-a-kind and could effortlessly light up any room. She had a huge heart, loved her family fiercely, and shared a deep passion for music that brought continuous energy and rhythm to her life.

While Leslie did not have children of her own, she was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt whose joyful spirit enriched the lives of her entire family.

She is reunited in love with her parents, William Jerry Baldwin and Annie Sue Baldwin of Chapel Hill; her sister, Angela Baldwin; and her brother, William Jerry Baldwin Jr.

Leslie’s bright light lives on through her surviving siblings: her brother, Stewart Baldwin; and her sisters, Cynthia Bass, Barbara Noell Leboo, and Monica Alston. She also leaves behind a beloved host of living nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and hear her laughter in their hearts.
