Gregory Scott Foushee

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Scott Foushee, departed this life on May 6, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Greg was a graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Class of 1972. He continued his education at Fayetteville State University. In addition, he honorably served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army.

Greg is survived by his two daughters, Persephone Laportia Poyner of La Plata, Maryland., and Raisa Simone Foushee of Norfolk, Virginia; three sisters, Beryl Foushee of Pearland, Texas, Karen Foushee Lee (Kevin) of Snellville, Georgia, and Edith Foushee of Greensboro, North Carolina; and one brother, Edward Leon Foushee of Hampton, Virginia. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial service arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
