Geraldine Ingram Obituary Geraldine Ingram, better known as "Skacy" was born on November 12, 1945, in Orange County, NC. She was the beloved daughter of Waymond T. Harris and Sallie Ingram. She was called home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ. After the passing of her father, she was cared for by her paternal grandmother Ms. Maria Harris. When her grandmothers health declined she was adopted by her Uncle Herman and his wife Lillian. Skacy attended Lincoln High School before graduating from Chapel Hill High School Class of 1967. She began a career in nursing at NC Memorial Hospital as a nurses aide. She then decided to work for herself as a child caregiver and foster parent for several families and relatives. Skacy loved traveling, sewing and most of all music. She hosted several parties and cookouts at her home. She was an avid sports fan and loved her UNC Tar Heels and Dallas Cowboys. She could be seen cheering, coaching and even refereeing the games with passion. Zion Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health declined. She served on the Usher Board, was a Vacation Bible School Teacher and a proud member of The J.R.
