Cassandra Alvina Carver

Ms. Cassandra Alvina “Missy” Carver was born on January 22, 1968, to the late Alice Craig Carver and Isaiah Cobb Carver Sr. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Chapel Hill, NC.

Missy was educated in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School system. Missy worked as a nanny and truly loved what she did, finding joy in caring for others. Even outside of work, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her dedication and love for her family continued until her sudden passing.

Missy was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Isaiah Carver; four brothers, Michael, Alton, Stanley and Isaiah Carver; and one sister, Vercell Carver.

She leaves to continue her legacy, two children, Sasha Carver and Efrem Brittian II; grandchildren, Shanice Carver, Nasir Baldwin, Sajei Bland, Nyasia Eubanks, and Shanya Baldwin, Kyla Brittian, Aubree Brittian, Efrem Brittian III, Kobe and Kristiana McSwain, Azzuriah-Jah’dore Foster, Amora Burnette; great-granddaughter, Siyona Fontenelle; nieces, Leaticia Carver, Yakelle Carver and Lashanda Carver-Moore (Will); two special sons, Jerry Baldwin and Joey Baldwin (Myranda); two aunts, Martha Terrell (Carnell) and Louise Bennett; goddaughter, Kyerra Bowen and her children, Camari Bowen and Londyn and Aria Neal. Missy also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
