Adreanna Koryn Chapman

April 18, 2014 — January 21, 2024

Adreanna Chapman Obituary Adreanna Chapman, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, peacefully received her heavenly wings on January 21, 2024, after declining in health over the course of her unfortunate hospital stay. Adreanna was born on April 18, 2014, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Adreanna was known for her radiant smile, which she maintained even in her times of pain while struggling with sickle cell disease. Adreanna's life was a testament to her resilience and unwavering positivity. Despite her struggles, she continued to exude joy, with her infectious smile lighting up the lives of those around her. Her love for rollerblading, the show 'Bob's Burgers,' and her favorite artist, Nicki Minaj, particularly the song 'Roman's Revenge,' reflected her vibrant spirit. Adreanna's passion for music, especially techno, brought her much joy. Adreanna's devotion to her younger brother Devyn illustrated her loving and caring nature. She found joy in helping him, especially putting him to sleep - showing her nurturing spirit and love. Adreanna loved to blast her older brothers, Davion and Divine, with text messages throughout the week, whether to send something silly or to tell them she loved them. She also loved to play fight with her brothers, even if that meant she was the one being thrown over a shoulder, kicking and screaming in the end. Adreanna's favorite food was pizza, rice, which she just learned to cook in her rice cooker, and most importantly, ICE, which she loved so much she broke the ice machine after only having it for two months. Adreanna enjoyed baking (but not eating) the sweets she made. Adreanna's artistic and creative talents shone through her love for arts and crafts of all kinds. Her aspiration to follow in her aunt's footsteps and pursue a career in nail artistry highlighted her ambition and creative flair. Adreanna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her time at McDougle Elementary School, where she was in the 4th grade, was marked by her warmth, kindness, and love for her friends. Adreanna leaves behind her mother Alexis Chapman, father Deveron London; siblings Divine and Davion Boykin and Devyn London; god sister Alexis Rhodes; great-grandmother Brenda Rinehart, grandmother Andrea Anderson, grandfather Charles Chapman, godparents Lisa Langley, Mawasi Clarke, April Reeder and Kirsly Alce, a host of cousins including two of her sibling cousins as we call them Reginald Ayden Riggsbee III (god brother) and Darrien Chapman and many other relatives and friends including two of her best friends Immy (Imogen) Boyer and Aaliyah Ehrmann also known as 'The Starburst Sisters' who will forever cherish her memory. While her physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
